Description
"Rolling Home", Acryl & Buntstift auf Pappe, 70 x 50 cm.
Rolling home to those who always believed in themselves and in me, rolling home to that comfort and joy and fulfillment in love and joy, and in knowing that there’s someone who cares for their own breath and the things to fill their precious moments with. Rolling home to that idea of freedom and autonomy and eternity and pertinence and persistence and to all people who believe that life is a journey and that every time you dare to start walking someplace, there’s a new world to discover, there are new worlds to discover, and that with each and every single new world you enter, you worship the people who were part of your former worlds even more, unforgotten, never to be forgotten and always in your heart and making yourself stronger and more thorough with each and every single new world you dive into. Pull yourself together every time you fall, and think of all the people you know, at some point all of them were struggling, each and every single one of them. So don’t think of yourself as the only poor little son of a bitch who got hit by the cruelties of life. We’re all in the same boat here. Don’t waste your life with self-pity, just take every experience, the good, the bad, the nice and the ugly and use it for your soul to grow stronger, and don’t ever blame anyone you never even met for your own failure. Failure is the most important lesson in life. It teaches you to always believe in yourself, even though you’re a loser at some point. That’s what the system wants you to believe and to think of yourself anyway. Losing means winning in the end, so just keep on rolling, rolling home to those who always believed in themselves and in you. Hold onto those who believed in you when you were down and out of the game, these are the most precious of all people. Don’t ever let them go. Keep on believing in yourself, never stop believing in yourself. Make the most of what has always been a huge part of yourself: the certainty that to live a life filled with hope is better than one poisoned by fear. Rolling home to those who always believed in themselves and in me, rolling home to love and peace of mind, making the best of now. Thank you, Frank Bowling, Bill Murray & Kiefer Sutherland.
